2013 Pro Bowl Prediction
HONOLULU, HI (The Spread) – Will the 2013 Pro Bowl play out like it has in four of the past five years in that both teams will light up the scoreboard.
Line Movement: The line opened as a pick’em at most books, although some places listed the NFC as a 1.5-point favorite. The total opened as high as 85 but has been bet down to 80 at most places. (You can find the over/under as low as 79.5 at most books.)
Public Betting: Of the wagers currently placed on this game, 56% of NFL public bettors currently favor the AFC. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most up-to-date NFL public betting numbers.
NFL Playoff Free Pick: Take the over. According to latest NFL trends, the over has hit in four of the last five Pro Bowls. Last year the two sides racked up 100 points as neither defense was interested in tackling (or playing, really). The game has become a joke and the rules are set up for the quarterbacks to pick apart a defense in what essentially amounts to as a flag football scorefest. While the total is set pretty high at 80, the past two Pro Bowls have since the combined score go over 90. If you’re going to bet anything in this game, the best money is on the over as both teams are likely to reach the 40s by the end of the fourth quarter.
