Small Schools get shot on Final Four's big stage Print

 ATLANTA (AP) - The NCAA's smaller schools are finally getting their chance on the big stage.
The Division II and Division III national championships will be played Sunday at Philips Arena in Atlanta as part of the Final Four weekend and the NCAA's 75th anniversary celebration
Drury, from Springfield, Mo., will be chasing its first Division II national title when it faces two-time champion Metropolitan State of Denver. The Panthers (30-4) have won 22 straight, while the Roadrunners (32-2) have won their last nine games.
Mary Hardin-Baylor, located in Belton, Texas, is seeking its first championship when it faces Amherst in the D-III title game. The Crusaders (27-5) have needed second-half rallies three times just to reach Atlanta, while the Lord Jeffs (29-2) have won 23 consecutive games.
