ELKHART LAKE, Wis. - Now that the hype from his unlikely Daytona 500 victory has died down and his lingering illness appears to have cleared up, Trevor Bayne is back to racing. And he's wondering what his future holds. Bayne is getting anxious about putting together a plan for next season, and acknowledges he's keeping a close eye on what's happening with Roush Racing Sprint Cup driver Carl Edwards. Bayne doesn't necessarily want to see Edwards leave Roush as a free agent at the end of this season - but if Edwards does leave, that could open up a spot for Bayne to race full-time in Cup next season. MADRID - Red Bull's championship rivals McLaren and Ferrari are nearly ready to write off the Formula One title following runaway leader Sebastian Vettel's sixth victory of the season in the European Grand Prix. By Auto Racing Writer Paul Logothetis.
Del Worsham spent 15 years in a Funny Car before switching to Top Fuel this season. Both are cars that go fast in a straight line, so it shouldn't have been too difficult of a transition, right? Not quite. The speed and the feel of the two cars is completely different, which is what has made Worsham's quick run to the top of the point standings so impressive. By John Marshall.
