NHL Odds and Betting Guide - Perry-less Ducks visit Dallas
By: The Linemakers
Sportingnews.com

The Anaheim Ducks, within striking distance of the Chicago Blackhawks for the NHL’s best record, begin life without Corey Perry Thursday night in Dallas. Perry was suspended by the NHL for four games for an illegal hit, and without their second-best goal scorer, Las Vegas oddsmakers have the Ducks as slight underdogs in Dallas. Anaheim comes in as winners of four straight while the Stars have dropped their last two. The Stars took the earlier meeting between the two teams 3-1.

In Toronto, the Maple Leafs host the Penguins, who extended their win streak to six games after a thrilling third-period comeback against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday. Pittsburgh is the road favorite in this one, as the Leafs have not only been middling in their last 10 games (5-4-1) but also at home this year (6-5-1).

There are 11 games in the NHL tonight. In Boston, the Bruins are huge favorites against the Panthers -- taking the Bruins -1.5 is only +110. Elsewhere, the Blue Jackets try to finally get over the hump against the Blackhawks after multiple one-goal losses to Chicago, and the Kings visit the Sharks.

The lines are from LVH as of about 8:00 a.m. P.T.
