Mayweather vs. Guerrero Pick
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Robert Guerrero will finally clash on Saturday night. Here is a look at our free pick to win this bout.
This boxing match is for the WBC Welterweight Title and The Ring Welterweight Championship and will take place from the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada with the main card bouts airing live on Showtime PPV at 9PM ET on Saturday.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Mayweather Jr. is the clear favorite in this contest, as he has odds of -750 to win, while Guerrero has been given a money line of +475 to win. The over/under for rounds in the fight has been set at 11.5.
BOXING FREE PICK: It is tough to put your money on Mayweather with the unfavorable odds, but it is also tough to predict he will lose his first bout to someone like Guerrero. Mayweather is a smart guy and he won’t put himself in a bad position, so he must know that he has the edge on Guerrero in the key areas. His counter punching and speed will be more than anything Guerrero has seen yet. Guerrero will really need to be aggressive and accurate in order to win on the judges’ cards. Guerrero is stepping into new territory tonight and I just don’t see him having the talent or the nerves to pull off this victory. I would expect the fight to go the distance, and for Mayweather to stay unbeaten. MAYWEATHER vs. GUERRERO PICK: Floyd Mayweather Jr. -750
