DENVER, CO (The Spread) - According to a report by the National Football Post, the Broncos and franchise left tackle Ryan Clady aren't close on a new contract.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported two weeks ago that there was at least "some sense" that a deal was going to come together before the deadline to sign franchise players, but talks have apparently been slow-going. The Broncos and Clady have until July 15 to work out a long-term deal, and the offensive lineman is believed to be searching for $10 million per season.

Meanwhile, head coach John Fox told the Denver Post that Clady's recovery from offseason shoulder surgery is going well. He's also been encouraged by the progress of center J.D. Walton (ankle surgery) and guard Chris Kuper (ankle surgery).

"I think (camp has) kind of been the target date all along with Kuper, J.D. and Ryan," Fox said. "We're anticipating at some point, if not at the beginning of camp, early in camp, we will get them back full speed.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv currently list Denver's odds to win the 2014 Super Bowl at 13/2, right behind favored San Francisco, which is 6/1. The Seahawks, meanwhile, are 8/1 to win next year's NFL title, while the Patriots are 9/1 and the Packers are 12/1.
