(The Spread) – Oddsmakers have released early point spreads for Super Bowl XLVIII and no matter which team they face from the NFC, the New England Patriots are likely to be favored.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Patriots are an early 6-point favorite versus the Atlanta Falcons, who have -120 juice. The Patriots are also favored by 2 points over the San Francisco 49ers, but would carry -120 juice with any early wager.
As for the other two matchups, the Falcons would be -1.5 (-115) versus the Ravens (-115), while the 49ers would be a 4-point favorite versus Baltimore (-125). No early over/under totals have been released as of this writing.
The Patriots are holding strong as the 2013 Super Bowl XLVIII favorites at 11/10 while the 49ers are 19/10 to win the NFL title game this year. The Falcons are 6/1 and the Ravens are 15/2 long shots.
